Welcome! Just to give you a little history about this site it all started back in 2003  back when I was young and dumb. I used to think I was so cool. I thought “how great place online for people to find out more about me. I am going to write here and people will be impressed by my words. I will post pictures and videos and people will marvel at my creativity and humor. I will post clips of me speaking and I am sure it will inspire people and they will want me to speak to their groups of tens of thousands and I will travel the world writing, filming and speaking and all the lucky people who come across this site will be blown away by my awesomeness. Wow, how cool am I?”  So I posted lots of content and then it sat here. I redesigned the layout and it sat here. I tried promoting it on social media, podcasts, with friends and all that work and this site just sat here. Then it just sat here. So today as I write this we are well into the future and all my dreams for this site have changed. I have grown, experienced life, and became a  man. I don’t think I am awesome (well that awesome) and you are not reading this because of my wit, my creativity, my personality, or my magnitude of incredibleness.  Most likely you are reading this because you know me (hi mom),  or you’re making sure I’m not a psycho, or you randomly came across this page in a very unusual google search or youtube video. However, you made it here welcome. This is my corner of the internet to share my view on the world. I will write about anything from religion to fruit smoothies, culture to working out, finance to my love of Nimi Adokiye really this a hodgepodge of some of the things that make up me.

My work experience has always had me working with people. I was a pastor for ten years working in many outreach programs. This took me all over the world and I really developed a heart to help people. Today I am the Executive Director for a nonprofit organization that helps  “at-risk”  under-resourced youth, families, and seniors. I am co-host to three live internet shows- Love & Swirl (the internet’s first live talk show dedicated to the BWWM interracial relationships) Down 2 Earth Talk, and Danny Eley Live. I also make YouTube videos with my beautiful wife Nimi.

I don’t have it all together.  I won’t always be right, and I tend to be stubborn in admitting I was wrong. However… I am passionate about life. I hope I am always growing mentally spiritually or physically (I am 6’8 I don’t need to grow in that area). I love my family, my faith, my friends, and f words (not like f-bombs but did you notice all the f’s in that last sentence). Oh, food I love food too. I feel like my life has a message and I don’t want to keep that to myself I want to share my life with whoever will listen. My life’s mission is to help people in any way possible so I hope maybe in a small way I can help you from something you see here, and maybe you can help me. In this, we complete the human experience. So check me out, let me know what you think, and just in case you have a group with thousands of hundreds of people to speak to I am ready for the challenge.
